DSLR Introductory Photo Class

Two nights: Part 1 April 13th - Part 2 April 20th -  $35 / person

DSLR PHOTOGRAPHY.

Get out of the "GREEN BOX" mode.

 

Both nights, 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM at Mike Crivello's, 18110 W. Bluemound Rd., Brookfield.

 

This 2 night program is geared towards photographers that have recently taken up photography with a DSLR. Basic photo concepts will be covered including: Shutter speed, Aperture, ISO, Flash and Composition. The class is taught by Troy Freund, a professional photographer and adult education instructor. The class is limited to 15 students.

Canon Skills Class

Saturday, April 15th at 10:00 AM - Noon - $25 / person

The Canon Rebel line of cameras may be the entry point to their line of EOS DSLRS, but they’re no slouches. Chock full of features, the Rebel can be a lot to learn for any photographer. In this short class we’ll talk about some of the more popular features and their relevance to popular photography subject. What is the Q button all about? What are “multiple auto-focus points”? What’s a good way to photograph a child’s sporting event? What’s the difference between slow-sync and regular flash? - will be some of the topics covered.

 

This class is for new Canon Rebel owners who have a basic understanding of how to use their camera.

Nikon Skills Class

Saturday, April 29th at 10:00 AM - Noon - $25 / person

Nikon - Nikon’s 3000 and 5000 series of cameras have a lot of similarities and offer photo-enthusiasts some great options for making excellent photos. All the features can be overwhelming though, and this short class will go over a few that might need to enter into your photo-repertoire! What are the scene modes about? Why should you use the viewfinder instead of “Live View”? What is the “highlight” display in the playback mode? These are some of the topics we’ll cover!

Olympus Skills Class

Saturday, May 13th at 10:00 AM - Noon -  $25 / person

Olympus’ E-M10 and E-M5 II are two cameras that can be used by beginner or advanced photo-enthusiasts. Something that makes the OM-D cameras a bit challenging is the number of features they have, and the customizable nature of their controls. This short class will talk about both those topics - what features you might want to experiment with and why “Fn1” and Fn2” buttons are pretty useful. We’ll also talk about the “Super Control Panel” and some advantages of going mirrorless!

Pentax Class

The Pentax line of DSLR cameras offer photo-enthusiasts some great options for making excellent photos.
